I'm surprised I've not yet reviewed this place. THIS PLACE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU seriously. I've had almost ALL meal in the menu. The local delights are amazing from the basic Nasi kampung to soto to nasi hidang. Amazing! If you have family/friends coming over and don't know where to eat in Bangi, THIS is the place to go. Nowhere else I would recommend. Taste is consistent, price is reasonable, place is clean, friendly for kids, and friendly for celebration.
Excellent service. The owner gave us a plate of sago gula melaka FOC, as an apologizing gesture to us - because one of our grilled chicken (we ordered two) was undercooked. This small but kind gesture is rare nowadays. That tells you all you need to know about their service: friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and well-plated with suitable portions. Although I would prefer the drinks and beverages to be in a slightly bigger glasses (or at least having size options). Many patrons also celebrated birthdays while we were there - this place’s cozy surroundings and family-like atmosphere is perfect for a nice family makan-makan. This was our 5th visit and again, Cloves comes Highly recommended.
We ordered grilled chicken chop and soto ayam. The food presentation was neat and appetizing. The food tasted good, but it lacked a “wow” factor. Perhaps next time, I’ll try their asam pedas instead. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, though the décor was quite simple. Ideally, they should offer customers the option to order manually, as the internet speed was frustratingly slow. There were only two of us dining at our table, yet we wasted time placing an online order.
Clove Restaurant, Bangi ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a lovely dining experience at Clove! The watermelon juice was super refreshing, packed with natural sweetness and served ice-cold. Their fish and chips were crispy outside and tender inside, with tasty sides like creamy coleslaw and tartar sauce. I also tried their char kuey teow — flavorful with big, juicy prawns and just the right amount of spice. The restaurant had a cozy, calming vibe, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Service was friendly and fast too. Only small thing keeping it from 5 stars: the char kuey teow could have been a little hotter when served. Otherwise, would definitely come back!
Food was okay, the plating was nice. Nutella biscoff cake suprisingly was delicious and soft! Can order ur food via scan Qr but the line a bit slow. However, they provide you wifi and also can order manually to the waiter.
Went here for lunch with family. The food was great! I ordered a Triple B burger, and the meat were juicy! Love the place
We ordered blackpaper grilled chicken chop and mee bandung batu pahat. Food taste is good, not bad. Mee bandung taste so good and I love it! Price is not too expensive and not too cheap- medium range, Standard cafe pricing.
